Senior Adults

We deliberately attempt to make everything we do “Christ centered”.  Our goal is to encourage and never, never let our seniors feel unimportant or unwanted.

 

Sundays

Sunday mornings are ‘Bible study time’ with small group classes at 8:00am, 9:30am and 11:00am.  We have outstanding teachers that are rooted and grounded in God’s Word.

We also have a nursing home care ministry that is very active and offers worship services at a nearby facility each Sunday. 

 

Wednesdays

On Wednesdays, we meet for a time of prayer in Bible study.   Join us from 1:00pm - 2:00pm in family life center - FL02 for a time of encouragement and enrichment in the Word.

 

Other Activities

We have a variety of other ways for our seniors to get involved within our church and grow together in community.  Below are some examples:

Nursing Home Care Ministry

On Sundays, we have a Nursing Home Care Ministry that is very active and offers Worship services at a nearby facility.

Widows Ministry

Our Widows Ministry is a ministry to widowed women, by widowed women.  This group is very active in monthly meetings, travel, dining out and helping care for homebound, and many other activities. 

Hospitilization/Visitation

A ministry to those hospitalized is a daily ministry of our Pastoral Staff and Lay People.

Missions
Locally and globally, our seniors are involved in eye glass clinics, clothing and food collections, prayer and sharing the Good News of Jesus.
Connect Ministry
Seniors work as greeters at the main entrances each Sunday morning in all three services.
