Care and Support

Care and Support

We offer many different options for counseling, grief support, hospital visitation, and more.  We would love the opportunity to come beside you and help in any way during difficult seasons.

Counseling

We understand that at times the stress of life can be overwhelming and it may seem impossible to face.  We also know that Jesus promises that through Him we can do all things (Philippians 4:13). This is why the area of counseling; specifically, Biblical counseling is important to us and why we have Pastors who are here and ready to help in times of need.  FBCA has always believed in and supported Pastoral counseling as an offering to people in need of help.

However, there are also circumstances when professional assistance is needed by partnering with trained and licensed counselors.  The agencies we refer to are Biblically based and God-honoring in their approach to counseling with counselors who are trained both spiritually and professionally.  We want to make these agencies available to you. We encourage you to contact us for help and we pray for God’s strength in you during these difficult times.

Griefshare

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.

First Arnold GriefShare meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30PM in FL103.

For any questions about GriefShare, please reach out to Pastor Mark Stockton at mark.stockton@fbca.us.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain or addiction of any kind. Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling our life.

First Arnold Celebrate Recovery meets on a weekly basis on Monday evenings at 6:00PM in the Upper Fellowship Hall.

For any questions about Celebrate Recovery, please reach out to Pastor Ray Frazier at ray.frazier@fbca.us.

Homebound Ministry

The Homebound Ministry acts as a bridge between First Arnold and our members who are physically unable to attend church activities. Ministering to homebound church members is a special opportunity to connect with someone who has little contact with the outside world through home visits, phone calls and delivering flowers. To learn more about serving with the Homebound Ministry, contact the main office at info@fbca.us or 636.296.7729 x110.
