The backbone of our College and Young Professionals ministry are our small group Bible studies. We believe that real life change and discipleship happens best not in rows but in circles. That is why our missional community group format is so important. We believe God designed us for community with others. As a result, we believe it is so important to have a group of people in your life who consistently encourage and challenge you in your faith. We think small groups are where lasting life-change takes place.
Our young adult ministry is divided into two tracks: College & Career for ages 18-25; and Young Professionals for ages 26-30’s. Each of the tracks have a small group format to meet the needs of the group.
The format for our College and Career is our Community Groups. Community Groups are designed to provide a place “to do life with others.” Discipleship happens in the context of community. In these missional community groups you will find a place to find weekly Bible study, care, accountability, and prayer.
Community Groups meet:
Sundays at 9:30 a.m.
Lighthouse (located on the north parking lot).
Our Sunday Community Groups meet in the lower-level of the lighthouse for a time of group worship, and then break into Community Groups by age and genders of eight to ten individuals and a group leader. To join a Sunday Community Group, come any Sunday to the Lighthouse at 9:30 am.
We also have Community Groups that meet off-campus in coffee shops, homes, and college campuses throughout the week. If you are interested in a Community Group that meets through the week, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
No matter what small group format, our small groups are a place where you are known, encouraged, and challenged in your walk with Christ.
