| BEGINNING OIL PAINTING FOR CHILDREN |

|
These classes are designed for children age 10 and older (adults are welcome) who have no or limited painting experience. During these classes the children will learn basic brush strokes, color mixing and color values. The instructor will be painting along with the children and they can see her brush strokes on large screens at the front of the room. She explains every technique as they work through the painting and is open to questions from the children. These classes meet in the Arts and Crafts room (call or email for directions).
Pre-registration is required for these classes.

Classes are offered at two time slots each month to meet the needs of as many attendees as possible. Sessions are available on Mondays; 6:30 - 8:30 PM OR Tuesdays 12:30 - 2:30 PM. You are welcome to attend both (some do), but the project is the same in both sessions and you pay for both sessions.
Most months we will be making a two page 12 x 12 scrapbook layout plus a card. Come each month and you'll have enough pages for a scrapbook at the end of the year! Just add an album and your photos.
Classes meet in the Arts and Crafts Room. The cost for each session is $8, which includes all supplies needed." |

Lisa O'Heron is a Creative Memories Consultant and she has supplies for purchase as needed. There is no pressure to purchase from her, however. She loves scrapbooking and wants everyone to have fun and have the tools they need available as they work on their scrapbooks. She is readily available to help any beginners get started.

There is no structured agenda for this crop. We will be in the Arts and Crafts room and you will have plenty of room to spread out your cropping materials. It is a good time of fellowship as well as cropping. The cafe is open with a varied menu of reasonably priced items. We usually break briefly and eat together.
Beginning Jewelry Classes

In this class you will have the opportunity to make watch bands, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and key chains. The costs for these items range $4-$18.

This class meets 7 - 9 PM on the above dates in the Arts and Crafts room. The project will vary each month, but all will be making the same project. You will be able to individualize your jewelry with your selection of the color of cord and bead that you use.

| The bracelet is our project for March 12th. It can be made longer to wear as a necklace. In the second photo are several options for the beads so you can make the bracelet or necklace in colors that suit you! Simple knots and strategic placement of beads brings out the beauty of this piece. The cost of $12 includes everything needed to make this bracelet (or necklace). |
